Q: How can I buy tickets to Funhouse Fest?

Tickets may be purchased through Funhousefest.com, by visiting the Virginia Arts Festival Box Office at 440 Bank St. Norfolk, VA (M-F 10am-5pm), or by calling 757-282-2822. Tickets are also on sale at the Williamsburg Municipal Building, 401 Lafayette St. Williamsburg, VA (M-W 8am-4:30pm, Thu June 21, 8am-3pm).

 

On Friday, 6/22 and Saturday, 6/23, you can also buy tickets on site.  The Funhouse Fest Box Office will be located on the corner of S. Henry St. and Francis St. W., and opens at 1pm each day.  We will stay open throughout the concert.  Gates open at 5:30pm on Friday and at 3:30pm on Saturday.

Q: Where can I pick up tickets that I already ordered?

Q: Where will Funhouse Fest be performed?

Funhouse Fest will be performed on the lawn of the Arts Museums of Colonial Williamsburg.

​Q: Are blankets and chairs allowed?

Blankets, cushions, and chairs are allowed, but chairs are only permitted on the lawn. Blankets are limited to the size of a beach towel. Chairs are not permitted if they recline, hold umbrellas, or have foot extensions, and must be low profile with legs no taller than 17” and total chair backs no higher than 32” off the ground. All chairs are inspected upon entry.

Q: Are coolers allowed?

Glass, coolers and outside food and beverages are prohibited. Food and beverage vendors will be on site. Bottled water will be available for purchase, but patrons may bring in one factory sealed water bottle per person. Please note, there is no potable water on the site for refilling water bottles.

Q: Child Policy

Children under 6, lawn seating, no charge. Children any age, reserved seating, must have a ticket. No babies in arms inside the tent.

 

Q: What items are not permitted at Funhouse Fest?

The following are NOT Permitted:

  • Umbrellas

  • Pets, except service animals with appropriate paperwork

  • Weapons

  • Flammable lanterns, candles or fire of any kind

  • Fireworks or any types of explosives

  • Hula hoops, Frisbees, balls

  • Tables

  • Hoverboards, skates, skateboards, or bikes

  • Drones

  • Laser Pointers

  • Glass, coolers, or outside food or beverages, except for one factory sealed water bottle per person.
     

Q. What items are allowed on the shuttle buses?
All items allowed at Funhouse Fest are allowed on the shuttle bus.

Q: Should I bring cash? Where is the closest ATM?

Having cash will make your experience at Funhouse Fest easier.   

Two ATMs will be available on site. ATM usage fees will be charged.

Nearest ATM off site is SunTrust Bank, Colonial Williamsburg's Merchants Square, 202 N Henry St, Williamsburg, VA 23185

 

Q: Where do I go if I have questions during the show?

Stop by the Entry With Ticket Tent located on Francis Street. The staff and volunteers are available to answer questions and assist in other ways as needed.

Q: Where is the lost and found located?

If you lose an item while you are at Funhouse Fest, - you can visit our Entry With Ticket Tent located on Francis Street. Look for the Lost & Found Sign on the Tent. You can also call our offices after the event at 757-282-2800 to see if we have your item.

Q: Is there a First Aid Tent?

The First Aid Tent is located to the right as you face the main stage. It is clearly marked.

 

Q: Are banners and signs allowed?

Banners and signs are not allowed during Funhouse Fest.

Q: Does Funhouse Fest have accessible entrance and seating?

Accessible Entrance: Accessible sidewalk ramps are located at the corner of South Henry Street and The DeWitt Wallace Museum, and South Henry Street and Francis Street. The Accessible Entrances into Funhouse Fest grounds for patrons are both Entry With Ticket locations on South Henry Street. There are paved paths from both those locations to the performance tent entrance only. The Box Office/Will Call located at the corner of South Henry and Francis Street is accessible for purchasing tickets and picking up Will Call.

 

Terrain: The Funhouse Fest site is a grass lawn area and can be bumpy.  It can be a challenge to get around this site using a wheelchair or walker.

 

Accessible Pathways/Seating for the Performance Tent: Once you have entered through an Accessible Entrance, there is a paved path to the Performance Tent entrance only. The ground inside the Performance Tent is all grass and can be bumpy in places.

Staff will be available to assist with reserved seating in the performance tent.

Accessible Seating is only designated in the Performance Tent and is subject to availability. Patrons requiring special seating accommodations must request them at the time of purchase. All patrons including companions, caregivers and assistants must present a ticket for entry. Tickets for unsold wheelchair and companion seating may be released for sale to individuals without disabilities when: all non-wheelchair and companion tickets have been sold; all non-wheelchair and companion tickets in a designated seating area have been sold and the tickets for accessible seating are being released in the same designated area; or all non-wheelchair and companion tickets in a designated price category have been sold and the tickets for accessible seating are being released within the same designated price category.

​Q: What is the smoking policy?

Funhouse Fest, located on the Lawn of the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg, is an open air assembly venue, so there is no prohibited area for smoking. However, if you or someone else smoking is hindering yours or other guests' enjoyment of the event, staff may ask you to extinguish the cigarette/cigar, or move to the designated smoking area. All smoking in any tent is prohibited, including the use of e-cigarettes. For the convenience and comfort of all patrons, a designated smoking area is provided; follow the signs on site

Other Rules & Regulations

  • All bags and other containers are subject to 100% search.

  • Point and shoot cameras only. No changeable lenses. Strict adherence to artists' photography restrictions will be enforced.

  • No littering.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid photo ID to purchase and/or consume alcoholic beverages.

Funhouse Fest will take place June 22 & 23, 2018, rain or shine.
